The Chassis VIN stamp (on a ‘65) was stamped here
A little steel wool, and white chalk…
As you can see “5S115944” stamped into the chassis
And that matches the last 8 digits of the VIN tag. 👍
Like many of parts we’ve reviewed, the chassis is original to the car.
